Elegant Summons

I do really enjoy the aqua/ocean imagery this piece offers the reader. Almost in the style of a limerick I thought the flow was broken by the word 'welcome' which for me didn't fit with the rhyme scheme in tone, which could be intentional as I am not familiar with the form. The use of syllables in this poem creates a solid form and word choice leaves me with the feeling of embracing mother natures womb, the ocean and feeling that certain sense of 'this is where it all began'. Writing that is enthralling, captures the readers emotion and keeps the poem relative to a majority audience, I really enjoyed it over all.

What can I say, I love the imagery.
I picture Cape Henlopen, moonlit and the dolphins that swim along the shoreline.
