Misty (My kitten.)

Nestled beside me, her gracious charm
Softly caressing her gentle palm,
Feeling her presence as she is sleeping sound
Tenderly dreaming of the life she has found.
Encapsulated by a journey, all for her joy
Comforted close to her favourite toy,
Purring aloud with a peace in her tune
Blending our warmth by the silvery moon
Given to me as a gift to behold
Within this lifetime where young become old
Each day is a blessing, I love you with pride,
Wake little darling, I’m right by your side.

Your rhyme and flow are great. I read it aloud and the rhythm felt very smooth. The entire write portrays calm moments and, while "a peace" fits without an "a", it's easy to see and feel the placid gentleness between you both. She sounds like a very beloved kitten that returns as much tender caring as you give. Your lines are filled with joyful gratitude. This poem is a delightful read. H x
